May. 25, 2012 : We had a great time with Captain Mike. He's the best! Make a reservation and see if you can get on his boat. I recommend the early morning trip and ask for a covered boat.

May. 23, 2012 : We took the swamp tour with two adults and two children (4 and 6). It was a blast!!! Our captain Bishop was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and all of the wildlife (of course that includes alligators). We were a little nervous about the 2 hour tour with the kids, but time flew by as we moved around the Pearl River and adjacent swamps. We probably saw 15-20 alligators with many of them swimming right up to the boat. I would recommend this tour to anyone (especially the 9:30 tour in the warmer months).

Apr. 24, 2012 : This was our first visit to NOLA, and we did a private swamp tour with Captain Bishop on Sunday and had a great time. The gators were not very active due to the weather (cold the day before and windy), but we still saw a few. He took us into places the bigger boats could not go and it was great to have the captain and boat all to ourselves! Tell Captain Bishop that we found a crawfish boil in the French Market that afternoon - yummy! I would definately recommmend Cajun Encounters for your tour needs.

Apr. 23, 2012 : Me and my sister, Bethany, were just there on 4-17-12 and had a great time!! We had to have had the best tour guide Cajun Encounters has!! Bishop, our guide, was very educated in marine biology and knew the swamp like the back of his hand!! He made our rainy, cold tour very enjoyable! I hope me and my husband and son get to come down and let them experience the tour with Bishop as well!! Thanks so much!!

Apr. 19, 2012 : My friend and I went on a 2:45pm tour yesterday 4/18/12. Our guide, Bishop, answered every question, was very professional and made the excursion very fun. I overheard many passengers saying as they embarked they would definitely do it again. Thanks Cajun Encounters!
