Apr. 10, 2012 : Went this past weekend to Nola and decided to do a swamp tour and I'm soo glad we went with Cajun encounters!!! Captain bishop was amazing!!! Be sure to ask for him!! It was by far the best tour we took on our vacation!! Thanks again for a memorable trip!!!!
Apr. 6, 2012 : We just came back from Louisiana for a family wedding - but had time to take a swamp tour with Cajun Encounters. So glad we did! Captain Bishop was amazing! We saw several gators, snakes, a red tailed hawk, an owl and many other pieces of wildlife. However, the best part, was when our 9 year old son got to hold a baby gator - not to mention, feed some of the larger ones in the swamp. We were so impressed with the tour and would recommend it to anyone headed in that direction. Way to go Cajun Encounters! Wonderful time.
Apr. 5, 2012 : My sister, cousin and I did a swamp tour on Saturday, March 31. We loved it! We had Captain Garret, and he was great. He was a good balance of entertainment, without being completely cheesy or annoying. Just good fun. When he threw the rope out into the boat at my cousin and sister and yelled, "Snake," and they jumped and exclaimed loudly, it was great. I would highly recommend the tour - the last part with the ox bow, was so beautiful. And going by the houses on the river was fascinating. Definitely a must-do for tourists in the New Orleans area!
Mar. 19, 2012 : Just came back from our family vacation in NOLA and BOY did we have a blast on our swamp tour! Captain Bishop was AMAZING! He was both professional and entertaining. We all could tell he had a wealth of experience and knowledge and he went out of his way to ensure everyone (of all ages) had a great time! We definitely will be back and book another tour with him! Thanks Bish for the great memories! P.S. That man deserves a raise!
Mar. 13, 2012 : I along with two others completed the swamp tour while in NOLA for the SEC tournment March 2012 and I was not disappointed. Capt Bishop was the best, he could spot a gator on a log behind a group of trees and a snake on a tree branch while boat was flying up the river. I will tell anyone I know going to New Oleans that they need to schedule this tour. Had great time and was will worth it. Even the bus driver, Adam bus number 7, gave a great history of the sites of the city while going to the location of tour and coming back to hotel. Great time!!!!
