Sep. 24, 2010 : About 6 years ago my husband, his brother & wife, along with our best friend and his girlfriend all took one of the best trips of our lives to New Orleans. Every bit of it was magic. It was one of those times where everything just fell into place. It was perfection. One of the many things that we loved and still frequently talk about today was our swamp tour. Capt. Ted is a "character" who lives in our hearts from that wonderful trip. We've told stories of Capt. Ted, and retold the stories he gave to us. We still love the "the City is going to burn" story he told forshadowing the NO Saints winning the Superbowl. (The Saints are my husband's favorite team for the past 30 years...) Our group has often wondered how Capt. Ted faired during Hurricane Katrina, and we've all decided our "larger than life" friend of the swamp was probably having a party on the beach as the winds blew in. Anyway, we've been starting to plan our next trip to our beloved New Orlean! s for my husband's 40th birthday in 2 years. You can bet we'll be back for more of the swamp. :) Just wanted to thank you, all these years later, for such wonderful memories.

Sep. 21, 2010 : My group (4) took the Honey Island Swamp Tour with Bishop. It was awesome. We all agreed it was the best tour of our vacation. Bishop is not only knowledgeable about all phases of life in the swamp but he was fun, funny, and caring. Quite a combination. We highly recommend this tour (with BISHOP) to anyone visiting the New Orleans area.

Sep. 20, 2010 : I went with Butch on the city tour. It was great. He gave us a wonderful tour and it was very informative. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Sep. 12, 2010 : Capt. Nolan was the best guide ever! He shared his childhood stories and love of the Bayou without being overbearing. The tour was educational and fun. We were concerned about the heat but all is forgotten as you take in the beauty of the swamp. Thank you Capt. Nolan for an amazing tour. We spent a weekend in New Orleans but this is by far the highlight of our trip.
