On August 19th, 2014, we were given the honor of showcasing New Orleans to our friends at the Travel Agents of Greater New Orleans (TAGNO). During our custom New Orleans City Cemetery Night Tour excursion, we visited City Park, the Treme, the Garden District, the Warehouse District, Marigny, Bywater, and of course the beautiful French Quarter while we traded stories about living in the Crescent City and being a part of the culture here.
The tour also included a stop at Huck Finn’s Cafe, who’s team greeted us with po boys, smiles, and the chance to get out and stretch our legs.
There were tons of laughs, lots of notes to compare, and even some brownies and petit fours to go around.
With so much to love about New Orleans and so much to learn about it’s nearly 300 year history, it’s easy to see why a city tour is fun for visitors and locals alike.

Cajun Encounters has been featured in a spot on summer travel by none other than VIP Magazine.
The team here is so excited for the spot, and we thank the writers for reaching out to us from Beaumont, Texas.
Check out our “blurb” below. It mentions our authentic Swamp Tour, the Honey Island Swamp, and our City Cemetery Tour, which are all such fun things to experience. Don’t forget, the Plantation Tour is great to do when it’s warm out because there’s a ton of air condition!!
On October 20th, we had the honor of showing the kids at UNO some of the great sights of New Orleans. On October 20th, we took them to the Contemporary Arts Center, Le Petit Theatre, The Saenger, & Anthony Bean Community. It was so much fun!
Here at Cajun Encounters, we appreciate our beloved city of New Orleans. We appreciate all who travel to experience its splendor, and we love meeting each and every guest on our tours.
From time to time, you guys send us pictures of your trip. This is truly special to us, as we get to experience the Crescent City again through new eyes.
