Gift Shop & Onsite Amenities

Most people show up a little early — and that’s the move. Use the restrooms, grab a drink or a snack, and take a quick lap through the gift shop before you board. It’s a simple setup that keeps check-in smooth and gives you a minute to settle in before the swamp takes over.

Fun for the Whole Family

Swamp tours hit that rare sweet spot: kids stay locked in, adults actually learn something, and everyone leaves with a new appreciation for the wild side of Louisiana. You’ll see animals up close, hear real stories from captains who’ve been on these waters for years, and spend a couple hours doing something you can’t do anywhere else.

I had an amazing tour with Captain Steve this morning (21 Dec). In fact the whole experience was easy and seamless - the transport works like clockwork and our driver Ashelle (I am not great at remembering names) made us feel very welcome. Once at the swamp, the whole team did a great job, friendly and helpful and just a well organised setup! And then the star of the show, Honey Island Swamp and its amazing wildlife! Highly recommend this tour, take a break from New Orleans and all the city has to offer and come to this magical place!

Derek and Wade G were fantastic!! The bus ride was just as informative and interesting as the swamp tour!!! Went on a warm day in January and got to see gators, birds, turtles, and snakes… oh and don’t forget the racoons! So cute!! Also got to see gators on the drive to the bayou!! Lovely gift shop with cold drinks and snacks for purchase. Bathrooms were clean and they had enough for the bus load of folks without much of a wait! Would definitely come back again with friends!

VIP small boat tour with captain Steve to Honey Island, he's knowledgeable regarding the flora and fauna of the area. Great boat captain. I highly recommend you take this tour if you're making the trip to New Orleans.

Had Dustin as my guide and he was fantastic. Had so many facts and stories about the animals and even the inspiration for Princess and the frog. Really made sure we could get up close (safely) with the animals. Would do again in a heartbeat. Very easy to get to from New Orleans. We drove but they offer transportation

Very nice and comfortable bus. Derek was a wonderful bus driver that spent the whole bus ride talking about local Nola tips to help us out on our trip. Captain Ben was a great tour guide in the swamp. He spent time pointing out all the cool creatures that were around. This is worth the price.

Captain Steve & Bus Driver Rick were both great! They had amazing facts and stories filled history and local folk lore. Captain Steve included loads of wildlife information and pointed out critters we would have never seen. We were not expecting the see pigs or raccoons in the swamp! Kudos for the restaurant recommendations too! Great tour for families of all ages. Highly recommend. *Note there is no restaurant on site. Bring a lunch or you’ll be stuck with gift shop snack items.

Captain Dustin did a great job on the tour! We did the VIP and it was nice to get a more personalized experience with a small group. On the day we were there we could only see the places the larger boats went so I think either would’ve been good. The charter bus ride there was comfortable, pickup was easy from the homewood suites and Dwayne gave us some fun facts on the 30-40 minute drive.
